1. Primary ranked base: THE Computer Science World University Rankings 2026.
2. Top-200 slice only.
3. Metadata enrichment from ROR for official site, city, country, and founding year when available.
4. Detailed spotlight pages are manually curated using official department/lab/research pages.

When automated institution matching was not reliable enough, the directory intentionally keeps some official-site fields blank rather than publishing a doubtful link.

This project is meant to be a practical research navigation layer for people exploring strong universities in CS, AI/ML, and adjacent data science topics.

Important: this is not an aggregated ranking. The ordered list is based on THE’s 2026 Computer Science ranking, with metadata enriched using ROR and official university pages.
